The competition is the main key to admission
The competition is open to Cameroonian nationals and those from countries in the sub-region ECCAS: Congo, DRC, Chad, CAR, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome & Principe.
The competition is open to candidates aged under 30 on January 1 of the year of admission, holders of a baccalaureate and able to demonstrate professional activity of at least two years. Fluency in French and/or English is mandatory.
The tests are held in French and/or English, as are the lessons given at the Institute. Candidates cannot appear more than three times in the general competition, all sectors combined.
Any violation of the competition regulations, either in the information provided during registration or during the tests, will result in the exclusion of the offending candidate.
The documents to be provided to constitute an administrative application file are as follows:
- Certified copies of the diplomas obtained required;
- Copy of the National Identity Card, passport or valid residence permit;
- A resume ;
- A cover letter.
the option chosen by the candidate during registration. At the end of the tests, a maximum of 40 candidates are declared eligible and authorized to appear in the third part.
Admission involves a single oral test before a jury of seven professionals representing the seven teaching departments. Candidates will be questioned about their motivations, their artistic and cinematographic culture,
their openness to the contemporary world, their unique experiences and their knowledge of the chosen profession. At the end of this last test, a maximum of 30 candidates will be selected.
Candidates register for the competition online, by completing the registration form posted on the Institute’s website www.20iae.com or some of its authorized partners.
The registration fee for the competition, amounting to 100,000 FCFA, is non-refundable.
Candidates’ travel expenses to take part in the tests are their responsibility.
Successful candidates will have to pay tuition fees and a contribution to student social security at the start of the school year.
Teaching at 20 October IAE is full-time and requires student attendance. Parallel work is therefore possible but only within the framework of the incubation program, the
weekends or evenings.
