The State of Cameroon offers 1,800 training scholarships as part of the “Special-youth” three-year plan
The Cameroonian Ministry of Youth (Minjec) announces that as part of the three-year “Special Youth” Plan, the National Youth Observatory in partnership with the Vocational Training Center for Arts and Crafts (Cfam) is offering 1 800 training grants for young people.
In detail, 620 places are offered in the field of IT (office secretarial work, executive secretarial work, computer and network maintenance, website creation, application programming). 280 scholarships are available in the management sector: management, human resources management, project development, accounting and management and business management.
In the audiovisual sector (multimedia computer graphics, video editing, TV production, graphics and production), there are 500 places available. In the field of beauty (aesthetics, hairdressing, cosmetics), there are 400 grants in competition.
The scholarships offered by the State of Cameroon cover the costs of training in the different sectors. “As admission is based on file study, all candidates regularly registered on the Youth Observatory platform will pay 25,000 FCFA for file study and 5,000 FCFA for the uniform. The admission deadline is April 1, 2019,” specifies the Ministry of Youth.
